I came here as a refugee from Laos and experienced poverty in the U.S and a third-world country.
My mom worked hard to provide for our family, but money was always a source of stress and worry. We never had enough, and I grew up with the belief that money was something that was difficult to come by.
As I grew older, those beliefs continued to shape my relationship with money. I worked hard, but never seemed to be able to get ahead. My bank account was always hovering close to zero, and the thought of investing or saving money seemed impossible.
Began when I was a child, influenced by my family and my environment.
After years of struggling to make ends meet and feeling like there was never enough, I finally hit my “enough is enough” moment– with three littles in tow.
I was tired of the constant anxiety and stress that came with financial struggles, and I knew I needed to make a change.
That change came in the form of mindset work, which I discovered during my quest to find answers for my autistic son. Through my encounter with Bears, the founder of the Autism Treatment Center of America and the Options Institute, I learned that our beliefs shape our lives and that we have the power to choose how we see the world.
That was my awakening.
As I journeyed deeper into mindset work, I discovered the missing piece that would change everything for me - EFT (emotional freedom technique).
